Splashes of warm cinnamon, real vanilla extract and a sprinkle of sea salt to contrast the sweetness of honey. Simply measure everything and mix it apart to create this addictive spread. - honey – This provides sweetness, and of course the distinct honey flavor!
- ghee – The main ingredient in this recipe. I used salted sweet butter but feel free to use unsalted if you prefer. You’ll want to lubricate this before hand.
- vanilla – for flavor.
- sea salt – This adds a little saltiness to balance out the sweetness.
- cinnamon – This is optional but highly recommended! Not only are those little specks of cinnamon great, but they also give this recipe a warmer touch.

Step 1: Measure the ingredients
Gather your ingredients and measure them into a bowl. Be sure to leave the butter out ahead of time for easy mixing. If you forgot to soften the butter, here’s a handy trick. Put a piece of butter in the microwave, at 5-second intervals, flipping every so often so you can squeeze out the butter quite a bit and firm it up.
Step Two: Mix, Mix, Mix!
You can use a hand mixer or a hand mixer, either way, and the next step is mixing, mixing, and mixing! Scrape the sides of the bowl and mix again to ensure a smooth homogeneous mixture.
